Hello guys
The following is my suggestion to add a levelling system, which rewards consistent hard work and diversifies each player. It will increase roleplay by allowing certain players to become "specialised" in certain skills.
I am suggesting some sort of skill levelling system that gives players a reason to grind, something to work towards, gives self-perks and really rewards the "play to win" play style which is what I’m sure most players here want.
To preface all of these individual skills and ideas I want to say that it should be very hard to level up said skills, an absolute grind! however very rewarding once you reach it.
For example!!!
Level 1 mining = standard drop rate %
Level 2-9 mining = very slight but gradual increase in successful ore drop rate increasing with each level
Level 10 mining (max) = greatly increased drop rate + chance for double/triple drops
Level 1 meth cooking = lower gram amount received amount for meth precursor (forgot the name of it) or final meth product.
Level 2-9 = very slight but gradual increase in amount of gram harvested amount increasing with each level
Level 10= increased meth harvest amounts + great chance to get 50g of meth precursor or meth product.
You get my flow here, I hope…
Do not make it easy to get to level 10. The 10th level MAX perk should be !very! hard to get.
Hell, make it 1-100 it really doesnt matter.
This can be applied to many things within the game.
running speed (higher level = faster) + MAX ability being able to shoot while walking slightly faster
crafting (higher level = faster crafting) + MAX ability being able to bulk craft
this idea can work for everything really.
hunting, wood chopping, etc etc etc…
Essentially my idea is that each person can set out on their own grind to get max skills, which results in that person being rewarded for their grind but also perhaps other people will reach out and ask that person to farm, craft, cook, chop wood for them helping roleplay and economy.
Personally, I sure know I have a guy or two I reach out to buy materials off. And I know very well that if they had an advantage over me in getting resources or doing certain things more efficiently, I would (roleplay) and pay handsomely for that.
Thanks for reading and any criticism or feedback please leave a comment :)
I like this idea, gives a good sense of progression. +1 from me!
