Sooo here we go…
rather than just selling drugs for money, perhaps using the drugs can provide a useful bonus however also have negative side effects!! Yayy!!
Weed= If you manage to get arrested and go to jail with a little dope on you (cops fail to strip) , you can smoke a little weed to “chill out” which then reduces the amount of jailtime you have. Obviously, the downside is getting a greater sentence if getting caught with the dope.
Speed= mine faster or run faster for X amount of time BUT once the effects are worn off your character runs slower/passes out for a short period of time
LSD= Can take to see thermally through walls to see people/CCU’s (raiding tool) BUT your vision is totally screwed for a long period of time and is very hard or impossible to properly use weapons, so even though it’s a raiding tool you are left unable to raid (your friends/goonies have to do the raid)
Meth= you become much harder to kill (health gain) however cannot equip guns and must use melee and DIE after a few minutes of being a mad man (Make the perk not great for meth and keep it mostly as a drug just to sell I think) (meth is bad kids)
Essentially make them not ground breaking, overpowered features but just having them there as options to roleplay and use for cool perks with a big negative effect.
