The current APhone system works well, however, a custom phone system would allow for greater flexibility and be better tailored to the gamemode’s needs.

Potential features:

• Contact creation and management
• A 'social media' platform for more RP
• Yellow Pages Promoting of businesses
• Banking functionality, including player-to-player 'electronic' transfers
• Do not distrub mode / Slient calls.
• Custom ringtones and wallpapers for personalization

Overall, a custom phone system would give us far more control over features, improve immersion, and better support the gamemode long-term.

Edit to suggestion, Rather than an item in your hot bar you could open it with a keybind. Obviously this could be disabled if the player is cuffed etc
